Jeroen Clausman (1947)

As a researcher and senior policy officer for nature conservation at the province of South-Holland, biologist Jeroen Clausman developed strategic and psychological skills to get stakeholders aligned in complex circumstances. In a number of cases, he managed to achieve objectives that were considered almost impossible.

 

After his retirement he started building websites for small entrepreneurs who wished to realize their ideals in their company. His support sometimes led to extensive collaborative projects.

 

As a researcher and senior policy officer responsible for nature conservation in the province of Zuid-Holland, Jeroen Clausman developed strategic and psychological skills to get stakeholders aligned in complex situations, which sometimes resulted in objectives that were considered impossible to achieve.

After his retirement he started building websites for small entrepreneurs who wanted to realize ideals in their businesses.

Thanks to cooperation with Jeroen, tango teacher Bennie Bartels could realize his tango theatre production Critical Distances with paid professional dancers, musicians and volunteers and collector Jan Baptist Bedaux had the chance to compile a comprehensive art book on his collection of African art and work is underway on the successful establishment of a cultural travel agency.

 

Jeroen got involved in the Center for Sustainable Justice as a website builder. Over the years his involvement in the Center continued to grow. Apart from his responsibility for the website, he is the Center’s strategy and policy advisor, permanent sparring partner and critical editor, who contributes significantly to the development of the Center.

 

Jeroen is divorced, has two children and four grandchildren. He is a passionate lover and practitioner of Argentine Tango.
